On July 16th Rotary Club Beirut Liberty held its first General Assembly of the new Rotary year in the presence of our Assistant Governor, Najah Elias.
The meeting was an opportunity to review our vision, align our goals, and reaffirm our commitment to service and fellowship as we embark on a new year of impact.
The assembly was followed by a delightful lunch graciously hosted by our President, Sarwat Alaweih, offering members a wonderful opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and strengthen the spirit of friendship that defines our club.

Creating lasting impact

The Rotary Club Beirut Liberty was honored to join our fellow Rotary clubs in celebrating their Hand Over Ceremonies.

These special moments remind us that Rotary is more than an organization—it is a family united by friendship, fellowship, and a shared commitment to service. We are proud to stand beside our Rotary friends as they begin a new year of leadership, inspiring hope and creating lasting impact in our communities.

Luckily, Rotary Club Beirut liberty received from I Engineering Company ,USD 5,000 grant that was utilized by our Club to implement several impactful humanitarian projects across Lebanon, including water filtration systems in Dibel and Akkar, portable toilets in Tyre, and water filtration systems in 8 schools. These initiatives have provided clean water and improved sanitation to thousands of beneficiaries.

One of the most significant project benefited Zawareeb and neighboring villages, where municipal leaders expressed their deep gratitude, saying, “You restored life to our village.” This heartfelt response reflects the lasting impact of these projects in improving lives, promoting sustainability, and bringing hope to communities in need.
